NOVA » Devlog
Sparks! I am currently working on the updated/remastered/super version of NOVA. Over the years I've been tinkering with ideas of how to shape the game into the final form I want it to take, and I think I've got a plan.
I've added a simple PDF with those proposed changes. I'm not sure when this will come out, or what it's release will look like. But I thought getting the advice from NOVA fans seems like a good start.
So check it out, and feel free to let me know your thoughts! (Super) NOVA, name pending, is in the works!

Greetings from a French fan. Since you are asking for our opinion, I will allow myself to give it after reading (Super)NOVA. My apologies in advance for my English which is not very good.
1. Adding Pilot options is a very good idea. Wouldn't it be time to add even a little more finesse to them outside of combat in order to allow GMs to more easily develop sequences outside of Sparks.
2. For the overhaul of Drops, I also clearly have a preference for the 3rd solution. Drops do not correspond to RPG gameplay in my opinion. In any case, it is an extremely abstract notion that takes us a lot out of the dynamics of combat.
3. For the overhaul of powers, it is, of course, the second proposal that attracts my curiosity. I see many possibilities.
4. The changes planned for enemies and missions seem to be going in the right direction. Looking forward to reading more.

I love the idea of powers working and then spending fuel to do an enhanced version. very cool :) It would fit well with removing drops. It also reinforces the idea that the sunshards are really powerful!
The pilots having a progression is a great addition.

Generally I really like the option of getting rid of drops.
If powers take the road of having enhanced versions, fuel could replenish at the end of the fight.
Don't know if Supernova should replenish fuel or only life, maybe the latter, and that should fix drops entirely, by making them not that relevant.
Other things, well, I really like the way the lore is going so, I'm patiently waiting to know more!
