LOOT Quick Start
A downloadable ttrpg playtest
Do you love loot? Then you're in the right place.
This is the LOOT quick start. LOOT is an in-development TTRPG by Spencer Campbell of Gila RPGs. The game is available now in PDF, and late pledges are available on Kickstarter.
Go on quests, find loot, do it all over again. Your character is entirely defined by the loot they wear and carry. Loot is generated and passed out at the end of each quest with a dynamic loot pool system.
Combining my love of west marches style play and looter shooters, bringing it all to the fantasy world.
NOTE: This is a quick start edition of the game. It is incomplete, has minimal layout efforts, and virtually no art and graphic design.
You can learn more about the game in just over 3 minutes:

This looks interesting, I like the loot system and the city building aspects of the game, really original.
Why did you remove Boots in the newest update? I thought they were a good idea.
To simplify the game
Is it wrong that I see this and immediately think “holy shit, a sci-fi hack of this would be really amazing?”
Because I think it would be amazing. :v
haha I'm working on that exact thing!
I recorded a design commentary for anyone interested in learning more about the game!
Damn, you are so creative :)
Thanks!
